Maplewood Neighbors is a neighborhood skill share and tool library. Members trade hours of help — one hour of help given is one hour of credit earned — and lend each other tools instead of everyone buying their own.
This is a live demo community on barter.game, seeded with fictional neighbors (ada, boris, cleo, dev, and esme) so you can explore how a mutual-credit community works: browse the offers, read the feed, and watch the hours move. Nothing here is real — but everything works.
Welcome, neighbor! Our currency is "hours": one hour of help given earns one hour of credit. Offer what you are good at (gardening, bike repair, babysitting, power tools), ask for what you need, and settle up in hours. The tool library is open Saturdays 10:00–12:00.
